Mark Braman

President and CEO

Mark is an industry leader with over 30 years of experience working across companies in the nutrition and life science sectors. He brings strong leadership and extensive expertise in key areas to PanTheryx, including business start-up and growth through licensing, mergers and acquisitions, external partnering, raising venture capital, preparing and staging IPOs, and successfully launching new products domestically and internationally. Mark has held leadership positions within multiple innovative companies, including Pfizer, Efficas and Omegatech. He completed both a BA and executive management studies at the University of Michigan.

George Stagnitti

Executive Vice President

George has extensive R&D expertise in business and new product development and commercial partnerships. Prior to joining PanTheryx, he held leadership positions at multiple biotechnology companies that include Synthetic Genomics, Danisco, Efficas and Martek Biosciences. He holds a BS in food science from the University of Maryland, an MS in chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and completed studies in technology management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Pam Cebulski

General Manager

Pam joined PanTheryx from Synergy Pharmaceuticals, where she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and was responsible for building the U.S. commercial organization and launching the company’s first drug, Trulance. Prior to that, she spent a successful career at Johnson & Johnson where she held numerous senior commercial positions across all three business sectors: consumer, medical device and pharmaceuticals. Pam is a graduate of The American University and Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Mike Klacik

General Manager and Vice President

Mike serves as the General Manager of PanTheryx Colostrum Holdings — the company’s colostrum ingredients business — and as Vice President of international sales. Mike has extensive experience in global sales, marketing, and business development, holding leadership positions at FrieslandCampina, Ingredion, Martek BioSciences, and Pfizer. He has launched nutritional ingredients into multiple categories, including infant nutrition, medical nutrition, and functional foods. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and received his master’s degree in food science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

Scott Hyman, Esq.

Senior Vice President & General Counsel

Scott has more than 25 years of legal and practical business experience in international partnerships, complex commercial transactions, intellectual property protection and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and the global regulation of nutritional products. He has deep experience in regulatory strategy across regulatory categories. Mr. Hyman received a BA in history from George Washington, and a JD from Villanova University School of Law.

Jim Hau

Chief Financial Officer

Before joining PanTheryx was the Chief Accounting Officer at The WhiteWave Foods Company. During his time at WhiteWave, he was responsible for building out the organizations initial financial infrastructure, supporting the company through an IPO and overseeing the integration of multiple acquisitions internationally. Prior to this role, he held several positions of increasing responsibility at Unilever and the North American Ice Cream business. Jim received his BS in business administration from Marquette University and his Masters of Management degree from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.

Dr. Mark Grabowsky, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Grabowsky is an internationally recognized expert on disease prevention and child health. Throughout his career, Dr. Grabowsky has also held senior level posts at the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, National Institute of Health, American Red Cross, and the Canadian International Development Agency. He has over 25 years of experience at the forefront of significant global health challenges including efforts to reduce measles and malaria deaths in developing countries and advance HIV-prevention strategies. Mark holds a medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

Dr. Raymond Playford, MD, PhD

Vice President, Research & Development

Dr. Playford is considered one of the leading global experts in colostrum science. His research focus includes mechanisms of mucosal integrity and repair, and the clinical use of growth factor agonists and antagonists. Dr. Playford has published over 150 peer reviewed research articles, and is a past President of the Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences. He was previously Chairman of the International Committee and the Education Committee of the British Society of Gastroenterology and was also an associate editor of Gut. Dr. Playford continues to serve as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Plymouth. He holds a medical degree from St. Bartholomew’s Medical School, London

Brian Budeselich

Vice President, Sales

Brian brings 20 years of consumer packaged goods sales experience in all classes of trade. Prior to joining PanTheryx, he served as Senior Director of Sales at I-Health managing multiple business units. Brian played a key role in building the Culturelle, Azo and Estroven brands, all three of which have grown to become the #1 selling brands in their respective categories. Brian also worked for over 8 years at Novartis Consumer Health. He received his BBA from Western Michigan University.

Dr. Meg Cattell, DVM

Director of Research, Discovery and Pre-Clinical

Dr. Cattell has more than 25 years experience as a pioneering veterinary scientist working on the interface between Public Health and Food Animal Preventative Medicine. During her career she helped develop several dairy protocols and certification standards to optimize both the nutritional quality of food and health of the animals. She has extensive experience creating programs for milk quality for dairy cooperatives, consulting livestock operations, and educating veterinarians around the world. Meg received her BS, MS, and DVM degrees from Colorado State University.

Dr. Sandra ten Bruggencate, PhD

Director of Research, Pre-Clinical and Clinical

Dr. ten Bruggencate has more than 19 years’ experience as a principal investigator researching the interaction between nutrition and disease, in both human and animal trials. Her work has highlighted the potential role of nutritional interventions in preventing bacterial gut infections, inflammatory bowel disease and respiratory tract infections. She has authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications focusing on the modulation of resistance to gut infections, which includes the application of dairy, and pre- and probiotics. Dr. ten Bruggencate holds a PhD and MSc in Nutritional and Health Sciences from the University of Wageningen, the Netherlands.
