President and CEO
Mark Braman is an industry leader with over 30 years of experience working across companies in the nutrition and life science sectors. He brings strong leadership and extensive expertise in key areas to PanTheryx, including business start-up and growth through licensing, mergers and acquisitions, external partnering, raising venture capital, preparing and staging IPOs, and successfully launching new products domestically and internationally. Mark has held leadership positions within multiple innovative companies, including Pfizer, Efficas and Omegatech.
Executive Vice President
George Stagnitti has extensive R&D expertise in business and new product development and commercial partnerships. Prior to joining PanTheryx, he held leadership positions at multiple biotechnology companies that include Synthetic Genomics, Stolle Milk Biologics, Efficas and Martek Biosciences Corporation. He holds a BS in food science from the University of Maryland, an MS in chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and completed studies in technology management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Scott Hyman, Esq.
Senior Vice President & General Counsel
Scott has more than 25 years of legal and practical business experience in international partnerships, complex commercial transactions, intellectual property protection and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and the global regulation of nutritional products. He has deep experience in regulatory strategy across regulatory categories. Mr. Hyman received a BA in history from George Washington, and a JD from Villanova University School of Law.
Chief Financial Officer
Before joining PanTheryx was the Chief Accounting Officer at The WhiteWave Foods Company. During his time at WhiteWave, he was responsible for building out the organizations initial financial infrastructure, supporting the company through an IPO and overseeing the integration of multiple acquisitions internationally. Prior to this role, he held several positions of increasing responsibility at Unilever and the North American Ice Cream business.
Dr. Mark Grabowsky
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Mark Grabowsky is an internationally recognized expert on disease prevention and child health. Throughout his career, Dr. Grabowsky has also held senior level posts at the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, National Institute of Health, American Red Cross, and the Canadian International Development Agency. He has over 25 years of experience at the forefront of significant global health challenges including efforts to reduce measles and malaria deaths in developing countries and advance HIV-prevention strategies.
Dr. Meg Cattell
Director of Research
Dr. Cattell has more than 25 years experience as a pioneering veterinary scientist working on the interface between Public Health and Food Animal Preventative Medicine. During her career she helped develop several dairy protocols and certification standards to optimize both the nutritional quality of food and health of the animals. She has extensive experience creating programs for milk quality for dairy cooperatives, consulting livestock operations, and educating veterinarians around the world.

Jess has a proven track record of creating and marketing brands for over 15 years. She spent most of her career with one of the largest advertisers in the world, Unilever, where she created innovative consumer communications, led product launches, and brand renovations. After Unilever, Jess joined Seventh Generation — ranked by Forbes as one of The Brands Young Americans Love Most — where she helped restore the brand’s position and shaped the strategies for a business unit turnaround.

Brian brings 20 years of consumer packaged goods sales experience in all classes of trade. Prior to joining PanTheryx, he served as Senior Director of Sales at I-Health managing multiple business units. Brian played a key role in building the Culturelle, Azo and Estroven brands, all three of which have grown to become the #1 selling brands in their respective categories. Brian also worked for over 8 years at Novartis Consumer Health.
Dr Rajiv J. Shah
President of The Rockefeller Foundation
Dr. Shah is the President of The Rockefeller Foundation and brings over 20 years of experience in business, government, and philanthropy to this role. Appointed as USAID Administrator by President Obama in 2009, Dr. Shah was charged with reshaping the $20 billion agency’s operations to provide greater assistance to pressing development challenges around the globe. By elevating the importance of innovation, promoting public-private partnerships, rethinking internal practices, and shifting how dollars were spent, he enabled USAID to dramatically accelerate its work to end extreme poverty. After leaving USAID, Dr. Shah founded Latitude Capital, a private equity firm focused on power and infrastructure projects in Africa and Asia and was also appointed a Distinguished Fellow in Residence at Georgetown University. His work is widely credited with providing life-saving access to food, health, and water for millions of children around the world.

Chief Pediatric Advisor
Dr. Alan Greene is a world-renowned pediatrician and serves as Chief Pediatric Advisor for PanTheryx. Dr. Greene is a leader in pediatric global health and has made significant contributions to the field of pediatric medicine. He is the founder of the WhiteOut Movement to change how babies in the US are fed and TICC TOCC – Transitioning Immediate Cord Clamping To Optimal Cord Clamping (learn about it in his Tedx talk below). He was the original Pediatric Expert for Yahoo! and was a regular columnist for Parenting Magazine for many years. He is Intel’s Children’s Health Hero of the Internet and received the Healthy Child Healthy World Prevention Award. Dr. Greene has authored several books including Feeding Baby Green, Raising Baby Green, and From First Kicks to First Steps.
Dr. Raymond Playford
Professor of Medicine
Dr. Raymond Playford is Professor of Medicine at Plymouth University, where his research interests include mechanisms of mucosal integrity and repair, and the clinical use of growth factor agonists and antagonists. He continues to practice as a clinical gastroenterologist with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and Barrett’s esophagus. He is a past President of the Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences. He has been actively involved in the British Society for Gastroenterology for over twenty years and is currently the Chairman of the International Committee of the BSG, having previously been a member of Council, Chairman of the Education Committee, and an associate editor of Gut.
