Mark Braman is an industry leader with over 30 years of experience working across companies in the nutrition and life science sectors. During this time, he has held leadership positions with trail-blazing companies, including Pfizer, Efficas and Omegatech. He has successfully led the development and launch of a number of medical food products, both domestically and internationally.
Executive Vice President
George Stagnitti has over 30 years of experience in nutritional and medical food products, with deep expertise in business and new product development, commercial partnerships, licensing and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining PanTheryx, he held leadership positions at many innovative companies including Synthetic Genomics, Stolle Milk Biologics, Efficas and Martek Biosciences Corporation.
Scott Hyman, Esq.
Senior Vice President & General Counsel
Scott has more than 25 years of legal and practical business experience in complex commercial transactions, international partnerships, intellectual property protection and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and the global regulation of nutritional products. Prior to joining PanTheryx, Mr. Hyman was a Partner at the commercial boutique firm of Martin & Hyman, LLC., where he acted as outside general counsel to a broad spectrum of clients including a number of medical nutrition companies. Previously, he was a Partner at Hale Friesen, LLP; Lecturer at Law at the University of Denver College of Law; Founder, President and CEO at Derivative Works, Inc.; Executive Vice President and COO at Kitchen Sink Entertainment, Inc.; and a Partner at the law firm of Hyman, Levy & Hyman, PC. Mr. Hyman earned a BA in history from George Washington, and a JD from Villanova University School of Law.
Chief Financial Officer
Jim Hau has over 25 years of experience in Consumer Products businesses and before joining PanTheryx was the Chief Accounting Officer at The White Wave Foods Company. During his time at White Wave Foods, he was responsible for building out the organizations initial financial infrastructure, supporting the company through an IPO and overseeing the integration of multiple acquisitions internationally. Prior to this role, he held several positions of increasing responsibility at Unilever and the North American Ice Cream business.
Dr. Mark Grabowsky
Vice President, Public Sector
Dr. Mark Grabowsky is an internationally recognized expert on disease prevention and child health. Across his career, Dr. Grabowsky has also held senior level posts at the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, National Institute of Health, American Red Cross, and the Canadian International Development Agency.
He has over 25 years of experience at the forefront of significant global health challenges including efforts to reduce measles and malaria deaths in developing countries and advance HIV-prevention strategies. Prior to joining PanTheryx, he was responsible for directing strategic partnerships to finance the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals and led the coordination of federal agencies to implement the National Vaccine Plan for the Department of Health and Human Services.
Vice President, Marketing
Jess has been in the business of creating and marketing brands for over 15 years. She has spent most of her career building brands with one of the biggest advertisers in the world, Unilever, where she created innovative consumer communications, led product launches, and brand renovations for brands such as TreSemme and Bertolli, and was an instrumental player in the Gold Effie Award winning Hellmann’s campaign celebrated as being one of the first to create branded entertainment, as featured in the WSJ. Branded entertainment has since become one of the primary ways brands engage with consumers. After Unilever, Jess joined the pioneering, digital and consumer driven company Seventh Generation, ranked by Forbes as one of The Brands Young Americans Love Most, where she shaped the strategic thinking and repositioning behind one of their core categories. Most recently, she led the work for LoveTheWild named one of “5 natural product rebrands that rock” by Natural industry leader New Hope Network. Jess has strong marketing and brand strategy experience, connecting with consumers in new and meaningful ways. She enthusiastically embraces the pace of change in the world around us; excited by the business challenges and opportunities it creates, and has a proven track record of successfully building brands in highly competitive environments. Jess earned an BS in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Vice President, Sales
Brian brings 20 years of consumer package goods sales experience in all classes of trade and has worked with all major retail accounts in the United States. Prior to joining PanTheryx, Mr. Budeselich served as Senior Director of Sales at I-Health. Over an 8-year period at I-Health, he managed multiple business units including: Drug, Grocery, Mass, Military, Natural and E-Commerce. He helped lead and develop an internal consumer insight group to better understand consumer buying behavior and trends. Brian played a key role in building the Culturelle, Azo and Estroven brands, all three of which have grown to become the #1 selling brands in their respected categories. Prior to his time at I-Health, Brian worked for over 8 years at Novartis Consumer Health. During his time at Novartis he was promoted multiple times holding the following positions: Category Analyst, Category Management, National Account Manager, Regional Business Manager and becoming the youngest Director of Sales. Brian helped Novartis build brands such as: TheraFlu, Excedrin, Triaminic, Lamisil, Benefiber, as well as, Gerber Baby Food. He started his career working for Acosta Sales and Marketing, the largest national brokerage firm in the United States. Mr. Budeselich earned an BBA in Food Marketing from Western Michigan University.
Dr Rajiv J. Shah
President of The Rockefeller Foundation
Dr. Shah is the President of The Rockefeller Foundation and brings over 20 years of experience in business, government, and philanthropy to this role. Appointed as USAID Administrator by President Obama in 2009, Dr. Shah was charged with reshaping the $20 billion agency’s operations to provide greater assistance to pressing development challenges around the globe. By elevating the importance of innovation, promoting public-private partnerships, rethinking internal practices, and shifting how dollars were spent, he enabled USAID to dramatically accelerate its work to end extreme poverty. After leaving USAID, Dr. Shah founded Latitude Capital, a private equity firm focused on power and infrastructure projects in Africa and Asia and was also appointed a Distinguished Fellow in Residence at Georgetown University. His work is widely credited with providing life-saving access to food, health, and water for millions of children around the world.
Dr. Paul Anastas
Director of Yale University’s Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering, Yale University
Dr. Paul Anastas is a scientist, policy-maker, professor, inventor, teacher, and entrepreneur. Prof. Anastas is widely known as the Father of Green Chemistry and a leader in the area of sustainable technology. Trained as an organic chemist, Prof. Anastas has worked in the Administrations of Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama. He is currently the Teresa and H. John Heinz III Chair of Chemistry for the Environment at Yale University. He has founded and co-founded several companies and an international NGO. He has published over a dozen books and has spoken to companies and universities around the world. Notably in 2016 he was double recipient of both the Heinz Award in Environment and the Merck Award for Green Chemistry.
Dr. Alan Greene
Chief Pediatric Advisor
Dr. Alan Greene is a world-renowned pediatrician and serves as Chief Pediatric Advisor for PanTheryx. Dr. Greene is a leader in pediatric global health and has made significant contributions to the field of pediatric medicine. He is the founder of the WhiteOut Movement to change how babies in the US are fed and TICC TOCC – Transitioning Immediate Cord Clamping To Optimal Cord Clamping (learn about it in his Tedx talk below). He was the original Pediatric Expert for Yahoo! and was a regular columnist for Parenting Magazine for many years. He is Intel’s Children’s Health Hero of the Internet and received the Healthy Child Healthy World Prevention Award. Dr. Greene has authored several books including Feeding Baby Green, Raising Baby Green, and From First Kicks to First Steps.
